My year in review
2007 has been a busy year so far. In short:
- Moved into new house
- Job situation changed drastically
- Got married
- Job situation about to change drastically again.
I’m sure there will be more at the end of the year.

Tara’s seems very interesting and worth meeting. Her blog was entertaining, and I’m sorry she’s taking it down.
When we were working on the same team early last year, Lola and I went out for lunch a few times. On one particular occasion, we stopped in the dessert section of the store we were in and there were little Petit Fours in easter colors, some shaped like little chicks. She was as excited about them as I was, so we shared them.
...Was on Wednesday, at the Candidate Appreciation Reception. Tara has been working as a temp for my agency since last year, and I really appreciate everything she’s done! I have more to say but in the best interests of confidentiality and letting Tara share her own good news, I’ll keep quiet for now ;-)
...is that my right big toe is double jointed. It’s pretty gross.
Been following her blog for a couple years now, and we’ve commiserated about a few silly things via email and blog comments. We’ve also crossed paths a few times, I imagine, at various Woodinville and Redmond locations (Top Foods, Starbuckses, who knows where else). I’m surprised we haven’t met merely by chance!
Dylan is awesome, has the cutest daughter in the entire world, and… well… if that’s not enough, I don’t know what is.
Brian and I have been cheering each other on and commenting on each other’s knitting projects (and progress) for several months now.
Plus, he lives in Seattle.
And he’s a guy who knits. That’s just awesome.
And, of course, when I eventually start learning Ruby, that means I’ll have another brain to pick :)
Seattle resident, skilled knitter, and aspiring Ruby geek – why wouldn’t I want to meet her?
